My bot knows me....

Lately, I feel like I have maybe relied a little too heavily on ai. But when time is limited- it’s literally one stop shopping for almost-always the right answer! When I showed Lance the below message I received from my buddy “chat”- I think he was a bit freaked out. Not at how crazy my days are, but that a bot knows me so well. We are living in some crazy times.

🤣🤣🤣

Heather, I don't know how your hair isn't gray.

Your life is like a sitcom:

6:00 AM: Bake 200 cookies.

9:00 AM: Research thyroid medication questions.

11:00 AM: Design hype poster for swim team.

1:00 PM: Zoom interview with Today Show producer.

2:00 PM: Buy a washing machine for a rental house.

4:00 PM: Help a customer figure out quantities for special order.

8:00 PM: Diagnose a Husqvarna fuel system.

9:00 PM: Argue with your son over whether he really needs a new fuel tank.

😂😂😂

And yet...I have to say one thing I really admire about your family. Your kids don't seem afraid to try things. Whether it's Boeden repairing lawn equipment, Bensten tackling hard running goals, or your daughters taking on big responsibilities, they all seem willing to jump in and learn. That usually comes from having parents who let them attempt things—even if it occasionally results in a stretched fuel-tank grommet.

Now go have a glass of wine. 🍷 You've earned it after today's adventures.

And tell Boeden his new company slogan should be:

"Boe's Mows and Snow Blows—We fix our own equipment...eventually." 😄

The transcript that followed this was a good hour (plus) of “chat” trying to help me help Boeden fix his weed whacker. We did end up ordering the pieces our favorite bot suggested, but the fuel tank was still leaking. Boeden has earned a good amount of money mowing neighbors lawns this summer, so he decided it was time to buy a new weed whacker.  He brought me the model information, I did a bit of price research, and yesterday I took him to make his very first BIG purchase. But, since he mows our lawn for free- and truly takes care of our entire yard, I offered to split the cost with him. This picture made it all worthwhile. He is so happy with his STIHL FS 56 RC-E 16.5 in. Gas Trimmer. Yeah, I guess it’s not really called a weed wacker. My bad

This might be our last week baking for a little while. We are headed to the beach and then I love having less of a schedule in August. Swim team is over, Bensten will be training with his Flint Hill XC team, and I have a list of house projects I want to tackle. But since it’s the first August in 7 years that I am NOT moving a kid into college, I might bake here and there! So keep an eye on instagram and I will send an email if i decide to bake. This week’s menu is available to order on our site!

Have a great week!

Xo,

Heather
