Biscotti and biscotti

I love biscotti. Actually, I also love Biscotti.

Our almond biscotti is not a very popular item. I mean, my family loves it, but it doesn’t sell very well. But our newest Biscotti is not for sale…and it is kinda popular with EVERYONE!

Are you thoroughly confused?

Our newest Biscotti is a sweet rescue puppy - a Golden Retriever/ Great Prynese mix straight from Mississippi (just like Boss!)

My friend Taylor has been on the lookout for a puppy for us. But I have a type. I like blonde boys. And they have to be cuddly. And spunky. And Tayor took her job very seriously…..

She got word that this little guy was headed to VA, and we were pretty excited to meet him. Even straight off the van, dirty and tired, he was as sweet as can be. Taylor suggested the name Biscotti (Scotti for short) and our entire family was sold!

He officially joins our family on Sunday.  It will be chaotic and crazy and amazing. (Well, Boomer might not agree initially, but I am sure he will grow to love Biscotti.)

It’s been 10 months since Boss passed away. I honestly still miss him a lot- so poor Biscotti has some big paws to fill. But judging by the pictures his foster mom has sent- he loves kids, cuddles and being with family- so I think he’s going to fit in perfectly!

I hope you all don’t mind lots of puppy pics- cause I am already quite obsessed with this little guy! 

Hope you all are having a great weekend! We are in southern Va watching Lil swim. (Yes, there is a foot of snow here! CRAZY!)  I love seeing Lil in her element- with her people. And I love seeing her healthy! It was a couple of long months- but she feels so good! Very grateful!
