A little favor for a very special teacher ❤️

Hi! Happy August!
I have so many things I want to tell you about—but today, I’m going to ask a favor.
Mason Walsh was my kids’ swim coach when they were younger. She was a D1 college swimmer, made Olympic Trials, and then came back to coach our kids—and she was AMAZING. And when I went into labor with Boeden, I had a bit of a childcare emergency- and Mason stepped in and watched Izzy, Lil and Bensten!
In fact, when we made Liliana choose between travel soccer and year-round swimming, Mason was not thrilled that she picked soccer. So one day, while Lil was sitting on the side watching Izzy’s swim practice, Mason yelled for her to “hop in.”
Liliana wasn’t signed up. We hadn’t paid for her to be there. But Mason had a plan. And that plan very much helped Liliana become the person—and swimmer—she is today.
Today, Mason is a kindergarten teacher at Dranesville Elementary School, a Title I school, and the mom of two adorable little kids. She is in the process of setting up her classroom, and I was honestly a little sad to see how many things she still needs to purchase to give her students the classroom she wants them to have.
As I was looking through her list and deciding what I wanted to buy, I thought of all of you—and how incredibly supportive and generous this little bakery community has been whenever we’ve done toy drives and other projects.
So, if you share my love and appreciation for teachers, I would LOVE for you to help us spoil Mason and her kindergarteners a little bit. ❤️

Absolutely no pressure—just an opportunity to do something nice for a teacher who did something very special for my family.
Thanks so much.
And I promise, I plan to be back baking regularly in the next couple of weeks!! 😂
Xo,Heather
