Gut wrenching video....and free baked goods!

Hi-

I had several disasters in the kitchen this week (one that included stitches in Boeden’s finger!) so I am a little extra frazzled today! Plus I am already feeling behind on Christmas shopping. I didn’t get a chance to shop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, so now I just feel like I am overpaying and behind. BUT, we have a new “item” available beginning Friday at 2pm….I am always curious if you all like certain items more than others. Or if your cinnamon rolls baked properly. Or if you would change anything about a certain item. So I finally came up with a way that I can potentially get feedback!

Each Friday at 2pm, along with our regular drop, we will be offering a few “Testimonial slots”. If you are interested, you simply add the “testimonial” to your cart and check out. (This is only available for pick up, unless you have a delivery order, in which case we will just deliver along with your baked goods!) The “testimonial” order will include either several of the same baked good, or maybe several different baked goods. There will be no cost, but we ask that you either write or video a testimonial/feedback of the items we give you and send it back to us within a week. While we will know your identity, it is fine if you would rather us not share your identity if we use the testimonial. (If you prefer to be anonymous, please just indicate so in your review.)

And just a quick note about special orders- I am just about booked up through Dec 19th. I might have an opening or two, but I am trying my best to balance the bakery and my family. As I mentioned, Boeden cut his finger while we were doing a baking project on Monday. (He had the day off of school for some reason so I decided to do an old Christmas baking project that I used to do with my girls. It's a bunch of star shaped cookies that you stack and frost and it becomes a Christmas tree!!). Anyway, while I wasn't looking he grabbed a knife that he was definitely not supposed to use, and cut the tip of his finger. He felt sooo badly- which was partially because he was using a knife that he was not allowed to use, but also because he could tell I was stressed trying to get him to urgent care, and pick Bensten up from school, and get my orders for the day finished. Lance ended up with him at urgent care while I picked Bensten up- and Boeden sent me the attached video. It definitely pulled at my heart strings and made me pause. (It also explains why the kid gets away with so much.). So I will leave you with that - regular items are available on the site.Hope you all are doing well!
